I founded Yorkshire fly-casting in April 2013, and turned professional after many years of been a keen  fisherman, and I love to guide on Flyfishing days in the Yorkshire dales and to also  give casting  lessons on a one to one basis or as a group at various locations

 

I guide and teach casting lessons under the banner of AAPGAI. I hold both disciplines of single and double handed rods.

also I am  on the assessment  team of AAPGAI, assessing would be instructors coming through the ranks. along side been the show organiser for AAPGAI travelling to many shows giving demonstrations on Flyfishing and casting.  

As my business and reputation has grown, I now base my self as gillie on the river Ure at the Bolton Castle Estate, Wensleydale,  nr Leyburn, but also guide on the Blue lion stretch at East Witton, Swinton Park at Masham, (on both sides of the river) and also at Leighton reservoir for still water tactics.

 

I do full guided days for the serious angler to fun experience days with lunch for those wishing to try Flyfishing in a more relaxed way.

 

It has never been easier to fish for salmon and trout in Yorkshire.
